Broadway Musical Camp

July 20 - July 24, 2026

Join us for a week-long Broadway Musical Camp where children will explore the exciting world of musical theater through singing, movement, creativity, and performance.

During the week, students will work on songs from well-known Broadway musicals such as:

• The Lion King
• Annie
• The Sound of Music
• and more.

Camp participants will develop their vocal skills, learn stage presence through theatrical games, and collaborate with each other in a creative and supportive environment.

Students will also have the opportunity to work together to create an original song, introducing them to the basics of songwriting.

The week will include a variety of fun activities such as:

• vocal coaching and ensemble singing
• theatrical games and stage exercises
• creative arts and crafts
• collaborative songwriting

At the end of the camp, students will present a final performance for parents and friends, showcasing the songs and material they worked on throughout the week.

Camp Instructors

Katherine (Katya) Hikin

Katherine is a bilingual pediatric speech pathologist who enjoys spending her free time immersed in music and the arts. She plays classical guitar, sings, and loves working with children of all ages. Katherine has previously led local theater camps and worked as an assistant music teacher in New Jersey.

Daniella (Dasha) Hikin

Daniella is an undergraduate student at the University of Maryland studying Hearing & Speech Sciences and Psychology. She has been part of the Zerkalo Musical Theater family for over six years and has performed in several productions. In her free time she plays piano, sings, and enjoys dancing. Daniella is passionate about working with children and has experience working at a music school during past summers.

 WHAT TIME?
The camp is open daily from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
Before- and after-care are available for an additional fee.


 HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost of the one-week program (Monday through Friday) is $595 per child.

A 10% sibling discount is offered for the second and third child in the same family.

Please note that meals are not included. Children should bring their own food in a labeled lunch box.
A refrigerator and microwave are available for use in the studio.

How to Register for the Camp:

  1. Please complete the application using the button above.

  2. Submit a $300 deposit to Zerkalo after completing the application to secure your space.

    The deposit is fully refundable until June 1 if your child is no longer able to attend.

  3. To complete the registration, please submit the remaining balance to Zerkalo so that the total camp fee of $595 is paid in full.

Once all steps are completed, your child’s registration will be considered confirmed.

Space is limited. Registration will close once the group is full.
